During festive occasions in India, it is customary to regard other alliances with gifts. A perfect gift can be seen with a pack of branded confectionary items or chocolates. Other gifts can also include a collection of aromatic candles or other forms of sleek pouches or purses. Lap top bags, conference folders and other items also make excellent corporate gifts. There are simple gifts for employees that are seen in candles, aromatic wax models and dry flower arrangements.
Executive gifts can again be termed as personal or highly formal. The budget is prefixed by the management who understand the need to provide for this kind of gifting. Receiving a gift is overwhelming and also a normal conduct in any kind of business. In case of a new contact it is necessary to maintain the formal structure and hence gifting can be in terms of stationery or a clean box of chocolates.
While presenting the gift it is important to address the gift with a neat card. At times affixing a business card becomes necessary in case the gift is sent through a junior level employee. It would also be nice token to call the person who is the recipient and intimate in advance about sending the gift. Accepting thank you is also an art that conveys a lot about cementing a corporate relationship.
